The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology art Virginia Tech held their Instrument Maker Camp this week at the Moss Arts Center, fusing together science, engineering, art, and design, in an effort to teach kids and teachers how science, technology and art can be used together.
Participants used upcycled materials, computer programs, electronic sensors, and microprocessors to prototype and build entirely new musical instruments. The camp concluded with a Thursday performance for family members and others.
