Granted it went through several different name changes as the organization for clean water as a basic human thru the years during these time that the group headed by John G Heim, (20 years invested in local water quality issues). Eventually over time eventually becoming what it is today.

An activism, lobbying, water testing, observations and monitoring system, sea grass replenishment programs, oyster restoration pilots, and so much more actually work than just what must think locally by thinking of the name: The South Florida Clean Water Movement.
