1. Xiaomi could release four phones with 108MP camera sensors - Some of the best mobile phone cameras of the year thus far include sensors ranging anywhere from 8 to 48MP. Now, according to XDA Developers, we could see as many as four new devices with 108MP main sensors from Xiaomi in the near future, Xiaomi is apparently working on four new devices codenamed “Tucana,” “Draco,” “umi,” and “cmi” that will likely contain 108MP cameras. The included sensors will probably be the new Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensors. This would be the first mobile camera sensor to exceed 100MP and was designed in collaboration between Xiaomi and Samsung.


2. Nokia 6.2, Nokia 5.2, Nokia 7.2 expected to launch an event on September 11th in India - Nokia has started rolling out press invites for September 11th in India where the brand could be launching some new smartphones. The handsets are expected to be the Nokia 6.2, Nokia 5.2, and Nokia 7.2, which will reportedly be unveiled at IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany on September 5th. The aforementioned phones will be a follow-up of last year’s Nokia 6.1, Nokia 5.1, and Nokia 7.1 smartphones, respectively. The Nokia 5.2 will be the most affordable offering in the lineup, followed by the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2. They are all expected to be Android One devices, with Android 9 Pie OS running out of the box.

Redmi K20 ‘Honey White’ colour option launching tomorrow in India - Redmi K20 (Review) and Redmi K20 Pro (Review) smartphones were launched in India back in July and are currently available in Black, Red, and Blue colours. Now almost over a month after launch, the brand mentioned that it has an exciting new announcement about the Redmi K20 series to share soon. Though the Tweet doesn’t reveal any details on what’s coming, the teaser poster explicitly highlights white colour, which could be hinting at a new “Honey White” colour option that was unveiled in China back in July. The pearl in the poster image reads “the white will be here tomorrow. See you then,” which suggests the Redmi K20 series white colour option might be made official tomorrow.


4. Apple Watch Series 5 will reportedly feature sleep tracking and blood pressure monitor - Apple is reportedly set to launch the new generation Watch Series 5 alongside the new, 2019 Apple iPhone 11 at the September 10th event. Given that the launch is slated to take place in just a week, not a whole lot has been heard regarding the new Watch variant, there have been speculations that it will be very similar to the Apple Watch Series 4. However, a new report has claimed that alongside the existing features, the all-new Apple Watch Series 5 will feature a sleep tracker that will be software-driven, and not require any special hardware addition to the Watch. Furthermore, the Watch Series 5 is also said to come with a blood pressure monitor, hence making for two key additions to the smartwatch.


5. Mi MIX 4 and MIUI 11 tipped to launch on September 24th - Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is long overdue, and there are rumours and leaks about the flagship all over the place. While we’ve come across a fair deal about the handset so far, there’s still a lot more to know, including its official launch date. Now, Xiaomishka, who is usually reliable with leaks, has claimed that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and MIUI 11 will be launching in the brand’s home soil, China on September 24th. While there is no way to tell if the information provided is legit just yet, the MIUI 11 launch has been expected for some time.

Vivo V17 Pro promotional image shows what the world’s first dual pop-up selfie camera - The design of the upcoming Vivo V17 Pro smartphone has been revealed in a promotional image 91mobiles has received from an industry source. It confirms the dual pop-up selfie camera module that we first reported about in July. Apart from this, the new image confirms the Vivo V17 Pro will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. While the front panel is clearly visible in the leaked promotional image, we cannot see the design details of the back panel as easily. Nonetheless, the quad rear camera setup on the back can be observed along with the light blue color and is in line with a previously leaked design. To recall, this is the same hue that we saw in the hands of Salman Khan in the Bigg Boss 13 promo.

Realme XT India launch date is September 13th, will be country’s first 64MP phone - Realme XT India launch date has been confirmed as September 13th by the brand, finally giving fans eagerly awaiting for the country’s first 64MP phone something more to looking forward to. The smartphone will go official in the country at an event scheduled for 12pm on September 13th in New Delhi. The major takeaway from the event will be the Realme XT price in India and launch offers since the device’s specifications are already known. Realme XT (first impressions) had previously been teased to launch in India by September-end, so this news will be a welcome surprise for them.

Jio Fiber plans prices start at Rs 699 per month; free TV with Rs 1,299 and higher plans - Jio Fiber plan prices have been announced by the company, with broadband speeds starting at 100Mbps with the base Rs 699 plan. However, to get the higher 1Gbps speed, subscribers will have to opt for the Jio Fiber plans priced at Rs 3,999 or Rs 8,499 per month. As part of the Welcome Offer, subscribers will get a free HD or 4K TV on Jio Fiber plans priced Rs 1,299 per month or higher — however, they will need to pay at least Rs 29,988 as the JioForever annual offer with the free TV requires an annual commitment; GST will be charged as applicable.


4. Huawei starts beta testing program for Android 10-based EMUI 10 - Last month, Huawei officially announced EMUI 10, which is based on Android 10 and succeeds EMUI 9. The new UI skin comes with several new features such as a Dark Mode, redesigned app icons, and improvements to GPU Turbo. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has announced a new internal recruitment program for the EMUI 10 beta. Interested customers will be able to sign up for the program and if accepted, they can test out the new EMUI 10 software on eligible devices.


5. Nubia Red Magic 3S With Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and 5,000mAh battery announced - Nubia Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone has been officially launched in China. It is the successor to the Red Magic 3 that was announced in April. The Nubia Red Magic 3S sports a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, HDR support, and is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. The handset features the same active cooling system that uses liquid cooling and a turbofan with the improved air inlet. The Red Magic 3 also features touch-sensitive shoulder triggers that provide additional hardware buttons. Users can custom map these buttons to their taste.
